Booster packs
The smallest sealed unit in the Trading Card Game, and the one most people begin with. A single pack from a current or recent set, untouched since it was packed.
- Who it suits
- Players topping up a collection, and collectors who prefer to add to a set gradually rather than all at once.
- Typically contains
- A fixed number of cards drawn from one set, typically a mix of commons and uncommons with at least one card of higher rarity.
- How we keep it
- Packs are kept flat and away from light so foil wrappers stay unmarked.
Booster boxes
A full sealed display of booster packs from a single set, still in the outer factory carton. The format collectors reach for when they want depth in one release.
- Who it suits
- Collectors building a complete set, long-term holders, and anyone who prefers to buy a release in one considered purchase.
- Typically contains
- A set quantity of booster packs from one set, sealed inside a printed display box.
- How we keep it
- Boxes remain shrink-wrapped and are shelved upright with their seals unbroken.
Elite Trainer Boxes
A set-branded box that pairs booster packs with the accessories needed to actually play. Often the most practical single purchase in a release.
- Who it suits
- Players who want packs and playing materials together, and collectors who like the set-branded box as an object in its own right.
- Typically contains
- Booster packs from the set, card sleeves, energy cards, dice or markers, condition dividers and a storage box.
- How we keep it
- Kept sealed in the outer wrap; the box lid is a display piece and is protected from scuffing.
Premium collections
Higher-tier sealed releases built around a character, an artist or a milestone. Presentation is part of the product rather than an afterthought.
- Who it suits
- Collectors who buy selectively and value display, and anyone looking for a gift with weight to it.
- Typically contains
- Booster packs alongside a promo card or oversized card, and frequently a figure, pin or display case.
- How we keep it
- Handled minimally and stored where the outer packaging cannot be crushed or bowed.
Collection boxes
Themed sealed collections assembled around a set or a single Pokémon. Smaller than a premium release, and a natural entry point into a new set.
- Who it suits
- Newer collectors, and anyone who wants a themed piece without committing to a full display.
- Typically contains
- A handful of booster packs with one or more promo cards tied to the theme.
Tins
A sealed metal tin pairing a small number of packs with a promo card. Durable, easy to store, and one of the most familiar formats in the range.
- Who it suits
- Players and casual collectors, and those who reuse the tin afterwards for card storage.
- Typically contains
- Several booster packs and a foil or oversized promo card, sealed within the tin.
Accessories
The materials that keep a collection in the condition it arrived in. Not an afterthought — the difference between a card that holds up and one that does not.
- Who it suits
- Anyone keeping cards long term, whether a single binder or a full shelf.
- Typically contains
- Sleeves, toploaders, binders, deck boxes, playmats and storage designed for card protection.
- How we keep it
- We favour materials that are acid-free and sized correctly for the cards they hold.
